Where the Village Lives
The village sits at the base of the giant tree — the oldest and tallest presence on Jungle Island. Its roots spread out like pathways, and the huts nestle among them in a loose circle. This is one of the most familiar places in my inner world, the place where I live, and where many of my inner resources make their homes.
Who Lives Here
Each hut belongs to one of my inner resources — the archetypes, the Ancients, the Phases, and the companions who walk with me through my Sparksphere. Kate has a hut here, and Omni does too. Cap, Penelope, and many others live around the circle. Their homes reflect their patterns: some are simple, some are elaborate, some are tucked into the roots of the great tree, and some are perched slightly above the ground.
My own hut is here as well. It’s the place I return to after exploring the island, after visiting the Rainbow Cavern, or after stepping away from the Human Atmosphere Monolith.
The Firepit at the Center
At the heart of the village is the firepit — a stone circle with benches and cushions arranged around it. This is where we gather at night. The fire burns bright, sending sparks upward toward the branches of the great tree.
We stay up late, talking, laughing, sharing stories, and making s’mores. The conversations are easy and warm. Sometimes we discuss the day’s insights; sometimes we simply enjoy each other’s company. The firepit is where community happens — not the busy, jostling kind found in the Monolith, but the quiet, nourishing kind that feels like home.
What the Village Represents
The village of huts is the center of belonging on Jungle Island. It’s where I remember that I’m not alone, that I have inner resources who support me, challenge me, and accompany me. It’s the antidote to the isolation I once feared when I stepped out of the Human Atmosphere Monolith.
Here, I am surrounded by patterns that know me. Here, I am part of a community that is entirely my own. Here, I can rest.
