Take a moment to step outside or look out a window. Let your attention widen beyond the human world for a breath or two. You’re going to observe how the same three dynamics — Presence, Pull, and Agency — are shaping the world around you.
1. Sense the Fractal Presence of your environment.
Notice something that is in motion, a car driving by, a bird in flight, a person walking, anything that catches your eye.
Imagine removing the motion and just seeing the thing, the car, the bird, the person. This is the pattern that is present. It remains present over time.
Ask: What potential is resting in this moment? Can you predict what will happen next? Which direction will the car, the bird, or the person go?
2. Look for Fractal Pull — the gradients that invite change.
Space and opportunity in the environment are pulling patterns forward in time. A car might move into an open lane, a bird might land on a branch, a person might step into a building.
Ask: What is the environment pulling toward? What is it inviting to unfold?
3. Notice your own Fractal Agency responding.
The rhythm of your breath and your heartbeat is weaving a fractal pattern: you. Your environment is inviting you towards action. Your agency can be found in how you move forward.
Ask: How is my pattern expressing itself in this environment? What signature am I leaving in this moment?
4. Expand your view to deep time.
Imagine the Earth before humans — full of stored energy, tension, and possibility. Then imagine the Human Atmosphere (culture, language, technology, etc.) emerging as a response.
Ask: What larger pattern am I part of right now? What is being pulled forward through me?
Let these reflections settle without forcing conclusions. Presence is the geometry. Pull is the invitation. Agency is the expression.
You are participating in the same unfolding that shaped storms, continents, civilizations — and the Human Atmosphere itself.
